Redwood Property Inspections is a premier property inspection company serving buyers, sellers, and real estate investors, and we are proud to be a woman-owned business. Our family has been in the Bay Area for three generations, and with decades of combined experience inspecting Northern California real estate, this is our family business. Serving our community is our passion, and inspecting is our business.
Merri and Shelby Funk are the mother-daughter founding team behind Redwood Property Inspections. Merri brings decades of experience inspecting residential and commercial real estate throughout the Bay Area as a Certified General Appraiser with an SRA designation. Now retired from appraising- she’s bringing her wealth of knowledge to Redwood Property Inspections.
Shelby’s inspection journey began at a young age working alongside her mom for many years. A UCLA grad with years of experience in the Bay Area tech world, Shelby now melds her background in customer success and product development with her in-depth knowledge of inspecting real estate, creating an innovative inspection experience that drives more value for our customers.
